Gallery FUMI is pleased to present Held In Light, a solo exhibition by designer Jeremy Anderson, opening at Galerie56 on Thursday 28 May.
Marking Anderson's largest presentation to date, the exhibition represents new frontiers for the artist, bringing together furniture, lighting, mirrors, and vessels united by a commitment to serenity and the quiet poetics of form.
Working for the first time with upholstery and continuing his mastery of bronze and clay–both shaped entirely within his studio from raw state to finished object–Anderson also extends his work in porcelain works: a material choice that allows light to pass through surfaces in ways that extend the atmospheric possibilities of his practice.
